One day there was a hog. The hog would hog many things, even the barn! The other animals hated that…So one day, they decided it was time to teach him a lesson. The hog was sleeping peacefully in the barn. All the animals each had a job to do. Pig would distract hog with her oinking skills, cow would make milk spill on the barn entrance, horse would gallop around with ribbon flying everywhere in the barn, and dog would place bones on the ground and dig on the floor. Hog was amused by pigs oinking that he couldn’t hear all the noise from the other animals. Finally, pig heard the noise stop. Pig said hog should get ready now for the big harvest. Hog listened, when he got up he fell. Hog saw that he was in a hole. “Dog must’ve dug it,” hog said and laughed. He got up but fell back down again! He once again looked and saw ribbon tied to his legs. He untied them and got right back up. He saw the barn door and went there. With one step outside he slipped! There was milk everywhere! “Ohhh, now I’ll never get out of the barn, why did I hog it in the first place,” groaned hog. Cow came and said, “Don’t worry hog, we will clean this mess up. Just don’t hog things anymore.” So the barn was neat again and hog never hogged again! The End…
